There are many new features being introduced from time to time in Whatsapp. As part of that, we got another option.
If someone shared Youtube videos a long time ago through Whatsapp, especially if the Youtube application is open and only videos are playing. The option was then introduced to play YouTube videos directly on WhatsApp. Exactly the same way Netflix videos and movies can now be played directly within the WhatsApp application.
This is certainly a very useful option in the wake of the recent rise in popularity of streaming networks such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, mainly due to the recent worldwide lockdown. Since many people offer their favorite movies and web series to each other via Whatsapp, so friends don't have to search the Netflix app again for shared content, but rather if they share the link directly.
This option gives you the ability to play the player internally in Whatsapp.The option first came out in November 2019. Since then, it has been available only to users using iPhones based on the iOS operating system. Now available for those who are using Android operating system based phones. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that if you have a Netflix active subscription, only the videos and content you share are visible. Otherwise those videos will not play in your WhatsApp application.
